BIOGRAPHY
As a fiber artist, I have always had a love for fabric, color, and fiber throughout my life. Settling in my studio in the high desert southwest of Santa Fe, I am able to explore and create fashion and art with a distinct look and feel of this high desert area.
I make my quilted wall hangings as one of a kind creations. Most have hand applique, and hand Japanese Sashiko stitching to create balance and harmony to each piece. I love to create southwest and Japanese looks to my art. My felted art uses local fiber from New Mexico and Colorado.
I generally show at the Eldorado Studio Tour, Eldorado Fall and Winter Shows, Santa Fe Artists Market, Placitas Holiday Show, Espanola Valley Fiber Artist Shows and many other shows around the Santa Fe area.
